Example application. The screen pictured may be another model.

What you need

  • The display and its power supply
  • A cable route from the desk edge or a desk grommet
  • A USB stick or microSD card, whichever your model takes, with your content

Before you start

  1. Pick a spot people face, out of direct sun on the screen.
  2. Plan the cable: through a desk grommet or along the back edge, clipped down so it is not caught.

Install film

Watch it once, then follow the steps.

  2. 02

    Stand it up

  3. 03

    Connect power

Connect the power cable between the display and the outlet.

  4. 04

Insert the microSD card or USB stick with your pictures and videos.

Switch on the power and the screen lights up.

Step 1 of 4

15.6 in desk display with kickstand, from its CAD. Other models in this guide follow the same steps.

  1. 01

    Open the stand

Fold out the kickstand or fit the base to the display, following the stand type.

  2. 02

    Set the angle

Tilt the screen to the angle people read it from, and check it stands firm.

  3. 03

    Connect power

Connect the power supply, and the network cable if used, then route the cable to the desk edge.

  4. 04

    Load content

Insert the USB stick or microSD card, whichever your model takes (its page lists the slots), with your content and follow the screen to start the show.

First power-on

Check five things before you leave it.

  1. It shows a pictureThe screen lights and starts within a minute or two of power-on.
  2. The content playsEvery picture and video on the card or stick shows, in the order you set.
  3. It restarts by itselfSwitch it off at the wall and back on. It should come back to the content on its own.
  4. Nothing is loosePull gently on the screen: it does not move on its bracket, clamp or stand.
  5. Cables are safeNo cable is pinched, pulled tight or across a walkway.

If something is wrong

Quick fixes.

No picture

Check the power at the outlet, the connector at the unit and any power switch. Try a known working outlet.

The content does not start

Check the card or stick is fully inserted and the files are pictures (JPG, PNG) or MP4 video. Try a smaller test file.

The picture is the wrong way round

Rotation is a setting in the display. Set it once and the screen keeps it.

It does not sit level

Re-check the bracket with a level. On a stand, check the surface. Do not pack under a bracket; refit it.
